Our custom ratchet strap is 29 inches long and embossed with our logo and contact information. The long end of the strap is sewn onto the take-up spool on the ratchet so it cannot come apart. This strap passes through the front wheel and hooks onto the two welded loops on the cross bar of the Wheeldock. The ratchet is offset very close to one end so only the nylon strap makes contact with your wheel and the handle of the ratchet cannot contact the brake rotor when ratcheting and releasing the strap. This safety strap is a very nice addition to our Wheeldock chock as it insures the bike cannot come out of the chock even if the gas cylinder should fail in transit.
